Job description
Voolkan is a growing online job search website that is ambitious to become world`s most popular default job website. We pioneered social filtering technology in HR field and we continue to innovate towards great user friendliness and ease of use. Here at Voolkan, we believe that finding a job opening should be the easiest part of an overall job placement process.
Duties
Are you a great writer, researcher, good at captivating people`s attention in the college community?
You will work on a variety of marketing, public relations, and sales tasks. Such marketing will include:
-Internet marketing
-Search engine marketing
-PR and Viral Marketing
-Marketing and Sales Research
-Contest Creation
-Branding
-Creating Online Branding
-Social Media Marketing
-Newsletter administration
-Listing verification over the phone
Requirements
Candidates should:
-Have a strong understanding of the Internet and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
-Be a hard working, aggressive, self-starter, and well organized.
-Ability to work independently or in groups with others.
-Be able to commit themselves to weekly tasks.
The PR and marketing intern will be in charge of:
-Identifying and targeting people in the college market, students, and more.
-Expanding our online presence on blogs and other sites.
-Approaching blogs and websites for link exchanges
What We Offer:
This is a paid position located in our Midtown office. Ideal for a current college student who can commit 20-25 hour per week.
